One of the highlights of our visit was attending a Rotary Club meeting at the Grand Hyatt. Walking into that room felt like coming home—there’s a universal sense of belonging among Rotarians that transcends borders. The evening was made even more memorable by Angie Ong’s compelling talk on fintech. Her clarity and precision captivated the audience, and the insights she shared were a gift that left us all inspired and energized.

Ever since my fascination with controlled environments began during the days of Biosphere 2 in the Arizona desert, I’ve been drawn to places where human ingenuity meets nature. Singapore doesn’t just meet this ideal; it elevates it. The city’s ability to weave beauty into its urban design is nothing short of visionary. It’s a blueprint for the future—not just here on Earth, but perhaps even on distant planets and space stations someday. 🛸
